    Ghana's Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu, must be every media interviewer's delight. It had taken some time to get his office to arrange an interview, what with his long list of high level local and international conferences. When it was done, however, the interview was scheduled for mid-day on a September Saturday; the venue - a serene, clean, and secluded facility at Akuse, owned by energy giant Volta River Authority, some 45 miles away from the noise, pollution and inescapable madding crowd of Accra.    read more >>
